Kusadama Enterprises was tasked with helping The University Film raise money on Indiegogo. The University is a feature documentary following the students at Singularity University from the inaugural class in 2009 to the present, directed by Matt Rutherford, the CEO and Founder of Roc Noir.

Solution

We started by creating the strategy of the types of content needed to attract awareness, and convince visitors to fund the film. Behind the Scenes clips of the film helped show the progress and build excitement and credibility. We requested a “director’s message” from the director, so that people could hear his reasons for making the film, and establish a personal connection. We wrote all of the copy for the funding page, and helped with social media and press releases.
